No Gold or experience is collected, instead each team gets to give a
player a skill after each game.

Showcase Games (All Weekend):
To show off some of the lesser spotted (and in my opinion the best) of games workshop games we will be running specialist games all weekend.
With demos, participation games and challenge matches their will be something for everyone.
Battle Fleet Gothic
Fleets of giant spaceships do battle in the cold dark of space.
Epic: Armageddon
You thought Appocalypse was big? It has nothing on epic, thousands of infantry do battle with hulking war machines and massive titans.
Participation events (All Weekend):
All these events will be run all weekend (from Friday night until 4pm Sunday).
They are designed to be played in 20mins-1 hour, so everyone can have a go in between games.
Epic: Armageddon, Down Da Gargant
Drunk on squig juice the mad big mec Grad Daz is careening his beloved great Gargant towards a nearby ork settlement. Will the rag-tag bunch of boyz on patrol be able to stop it before they get smushed. Well, probably not!
Speed Painting Challenge (20mins).
For 1 euro entry to take a random model and have 20 minutes to make it look great.
On Sunday the entrant will be judged with the “Hammer of Judgement” by none other than Jervis Johnson.
(WARNING: don't get too attached to your masterwork, it may end up “Judged” into little pieces).
Warbuggy Races (approx 40 mins)
Wacky Races meets Formula One, in fast paced Orky racing game.
Warhammer Historical
28mm American Civil War battle using Warhammer historical rules variation for ACW on a massive 9’ by 5’ table.
The Destruction of Army Group Centre
A Memoir '44 Game
by Donogh McCarthy & Eamon Honan
In June 1944, as Britain, Canada and the USA fought in Normandy, the Soviets faced over 34 German Divisions in Belarus.
Since its withdrawal from Moscow during its offensive of 1941-42 the statis nature of the front had given the Germans the opportunity to fortify their lines. The Soviets had undertook a huge deception plan to convince German High Command that their main efforts would be in the Ukraine, which drew forces away from Army Group Centre and dangerously weakened its position.
At the end of Operation Bagration, 28 German Divisions would be destroyed or rendered ineffective, destroying Army Group Centre and a gaping hole had been torn in the German lines, leaving the road to Berlin open!
Using a scaled-up version of Richard Borg's popular Memoir '44 game, we'll run the right-hook on the 3rd Panzer Army at Vitebsk on Saturday and the left-Jab on the 9th Army at Bobruisk on Sunday.
Will the Germans hold their fortified lines or will the Soviets have retaken Minsk, now occupied by the Germans for three years?
Historical Wargames:
DBM Munster Open 2008
The competition itself will be run using DBM V3.1. 400 points,
single list and an open choice of army from the DBM Books 1 - 4.
There will be four games, two on the Saturday and two on the
Sunday, so a chance to practice for Helsinki/ Celtic Championship later
in the year.
